The site is located in New Haw, located south of Addlestone and within the Borough of Runnymede. The site is situated within the county of Surrey and approximately 26 miles south west of London and 12 miles south of Heathrow Airport.
The nearest train station is Byfleet & New Haw, located approximately 5 minutes walk from the site which provides direct services to London twice an hour with a journey time of approximately 45 minutes.
The site is situated in close proximity to the M3 and J11 of the M25 motorway, the site is also well served by the A318 and A245 linking the site to the A3.
The immediate surrounding area to the north is largely residential in character, with a railway line and industrial use to the south in the form of Byfleet Industrial Estate and Broadlands Business Park. The site is bounded by the River Wey to the west and the east is characterised by residential use. There are electricity switching stations to the south west and east of the site.
